Accompanied by telescopes and an expert astronomer with more than 10 years of experience, you will learn all about astronomy, observe thousands of stars, the Milky Way, satellites, mythology, and much more!
From 19:00hs, we will pick you up at the hotel, house or apartment where you are staying to start the excursion. The day before we will be confirming the pick-up schedule. Following Provincial Route 11, we will go to the Estancia Tierras Patagonicas. On the way you will be able to enjoy an incredible view of Lake Argentino with the Andes Mountains in the background, as well as the native flora and fauna.
Enjoy the night sky of the city of El Calafate in the picturesque Patagonian Forests.
Upon arrival, around 8:00 p.m., we will take a walk around the Estancia and its facilities, where you will have free time to enjoy the place and its surroundings.
Around 8.30 pm dinner will begin with a panoramic view of the hills surrounding the Estancia.
The dinner has the modality “BUFFET FREE OF PASTAS”:
– Includes: Long pastas, lasagna bolognese, sorrentinos or ravioli and gnocchi.
– All accompanied by the best sauces, such as 4 cheeses, white sauce,
-Dessert
Drinks included:
– 1 bottle of wine for every 2 persons or
– 1 soft drink or mineral water per person.

Sky and stargazing, also known as Astrotourism.
Around 10 p.m., there will be a short 15-minute film projection to introduce people to astronomy and to anticipate what will be enjoyed in a few minutes.
Then it will be time to see the sky! The astronomer will make the first introductions and guide you on how to look at the sky, use the telescope, learn about the Milky Way, nebulae, stars, constellations, mythology, and more!
In addition to stargazing, we will do night photography “Astrography” and also have fun Ligth Paiting.
*This experience lasts approximately 2 hours and takes place ONLY between the months of October and April.
At 00:00 hs we will start our return to the hotels in El Calafate.
