Immerse yourself in this fascinating tour that will transport you through time to a dazzling natural scenery, traveling the Route of the Estancias in the company of forests, to reach the imposing figure of the ship “Desdemona”. We leave early in the morning and drive along National Route 3.
After skirting Lake Fagnano, we drive along Complementary Route “A”, traveling more than 40 kilometers towards the sea coast until we reach Cape San Pablo.
This route winds through picturesque estancias, offering spectacular views of mountains, lenga forests, rivers and cliffs that plunge down to the sea. It is not uncommon to encounter flocks of sheep, herds of guanacos, foxes and condors in the sky. One of the highlights of the tour are the historic estancias located along the route, among which we will visit one of them … .
We will enjoy a country coffee before continuing on to our next destination: the San Pablo Lighthouse. The hike to the top of the cape will take us along steep trails to reach the ancient leaning lighthouse, witness of countless shipwrecks and adventures in the southern seas. From this privileged point, we will contemplate the ruins of the ship “Desdemona”, which ran aground in the 1980s, adding a touch of mystery to the landscape.
Afterwards, we will explore the iconic Desdemona ship before returning to Ushuaia, where we expect to arrive around 7:00 p.m., taking with us the unforgettable memory of this unforgettable day.
