The Hain Experience is a tour designed for those who want to have their first kayaking experience in the southernmost waters of the world. Accompanied by specialized guides, participants in this option will be able to explore Ushuaia Bay in the Beagle Channel in double kayaks, learning the fundamentals of sea kayaking in a unique environment.

EXCURSION ROUTE: From the A.F.A.S.yN Club, we will travel around Ushuaia Bay to Caleta Aspirante and then return to the starting point.

Experience in Sea Kayaking

DEPARTURE POINT: A.F.A.S.y N. Yacht Club – Ushuaia

DEPARTURE TIME: Departure times are tailored to each passenger’s availability, providing flexibility to ensure a comfortable and personalized experience.

TOTAL DURATION OF THE OUTING: 3 hours (approximately).

EXCURSION ROUTE: Departure from the AFASyN Yacht Club to the USHUAIA sign. We sail along the shore of the bay, passing by the Yacht Club to St. Christopher. There is a stop with a historical explanation about the origin of the ship, and then we cross the bay towards Caleta Aspirante. Generally, we disembark to have coffee or tea with a cereal bar or alfajor, and take pictures in that area. Then, only if the weather permits and there is time, we approach Karelo Island. Finally, we return to the AFASyN Club.

With expert guides, complete equipment, and snack and lunch services, this sea kayaking trip promises an unforgettable day of connecting with nature and exploring the sea.

SEA KAYAKING TRIP – FULL DAY

DEPARTURE POINT: A.F.A.S.y N. Yacht Club – Ushuaia

DEPARTURE TIME: Departure times are tailored to each passenger’s availability, providing flexibility to ensure a comfortable and personalized experience.

TOTAL DURATION OF THE OUTING: 5 hours (approximately).

ROUTE DTHE EXCURSION: Departure from Club A.F.A.S.y N. to Caleta Aspirante. Approximately 40 minutes of paddling. We paddle eastward near the coast until we reach Isla Casco, where you can observe diverse native flora and fauna. We navigate toward Isla Karelo, crossing Paso Chico. Stop at Isla Karelo. Lunch and time to explore and rest for 30 minutes. Return to the city of Ushuaia via the same route. Arrival in the city of Ushuaia.

GUIDE: Local guide throughout the trip, in a double kayak alongside one of the guides.

EXCURSION LOCATION: Exploration of landscapes and wilderness areas, with camping in unique areas of the Beagle Channel.

THE TOUR INCLUDES

GUIDE: Local guide throughout the trip.

EQUIPMENT: Kayak, waterproof jacket and pants, neoprene socks, neoprene boots, neoprene gloves, mittens, paddle, auxiliary paddle, bilge pump, cockpit cover, and life jacket. Safety equipment and clothing necessary for the trip.

Tents, insulation, sleeping bags, clothing, and additional warm clothing are provided, as well as cooking equipment and drinking water to ensure a comfortable and safe camping experience.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy: You may cancel the service without penalty up to 7 days prior to the activity. Between 3 and 7 days prior, the penalty will be 50% of the total cost of the excursion. Between 0 and 3 days prior to the activity, the penalty will be 100% of the total cost.

Returns and refunds: If you request a refund, the transaction fee corresponding to the payment method used will be applied: 10% for credit card payments in a single payment (for payments in installments, the corresponding fee will be applied according to the interest rate ch Refunds made by credit card will be credited within an estimated period of 20 to 30 business days, depending on the processor and the bank with which the purchase was made.

Operating conditions: Excursions are not canceled due to bad weather, except for boat trips, which may be suspended for safety reasons in the event of strong winds. The order of activities may be changed without prior notice. Entrance fees to national parks are not included, unless otherwise stated.

Requirements for trekking: For excursions that include trekking, it is mandatory to have high-top trekking boots, a backpack, a water bottle, and waterproof clothing.
