Lagos off road: 4×4 experience: The tour begins when we pick up passengers from their accommodation at around 9:00 a.m. Once everyone is on board, we take National Route N°3 heading north. As we leave the Beagle Channel behind, the landscape reveals Mount Olivia and Mount Cinco Hermanos on the horizon, as well as the Carbajal Valley, where peat is mined. The road takes us to the Tierra Mayor Valley, where we can see Mount Bonete, Mount Alvear, and some cirque glaciers. Then we pass through the Cerro Castor winter resort, where thousands of visitors and many residents enjoy their favorite winter sports (all types of skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, ice skating, among others). We continued along the route until we reached an altitude of 450 meters above sea level to cross the Andes, and from the “Paso Garibaldi” viewpoint, we were able to enjoy the most amazing panoramic views of Lakes Escondido and Fagnano. A 4 x 4 experience full of adrenaline and fun. Get to know the Fuegian lakes by reaching the viewpoint Paso Garibaldi, the narrowest point to cross the Andes Mountain Range from where you will be able to take the best picture of Lago Escondido and Lago Fagnano. Then you will approach the Off Road circuit to start the journey in 4 x 4 over natural obstacles until you reach Fagnano Lake. The trip continues to the Bronsovich sawmill, from where we will take Provincial Route 119 to travel about 10 km and find our Off Road circuit, an old loggers’ trail that will take us, crossing centenary lenga forests (and some obstacles!!!!), towards Lake Fagnano. This excursion includes a technical rowing talk by our guides and a tour lasting approximately 45 minutes. The canoe trip is subject to weather conditions. At the end of the Off Road tour we will head to the refuge or restaurant where we will have lunch. After enjoying this truly magical place, we return to the city of Ushuaia.
