Located west of the city, Mount Susana is one of Ushuaia’s natural gems. This tour invites adventurers to immerse themselves in an unspoiled natural environment, where the tranquility of the Fuegian forest blends with the pure air of the Beagle Channel and the thrill of reaching one of the best panoramic views in the region.
The hike begins on the slopes of the mountain, very close to the Beagle Channel, where the sound of water and seabirds mark the beginning of the adventure. As the trail progresses, the landscape transforms: the lenga forests give way to more open areas, with increasingly expansive views. The 500-meter climb is a moderate challenge, accessible to those who enjoy trekking and want to connect with nature without the need for advanced technical experience.
Once at the summit, the reward is unmatched. From there, hikers can enjoy a 360° panoramic view, taking in the Beagle Channel and its junction with the Murray Channel, the Navarino and Hoste islands in Chilean territory, the city of Ushuaia—which glistens in the sun or is magically illuminated at night—and the Martial Range, which frames the horizon with its majestic peaks.
Mount Susana can be enjoyed both during the day, ideal for admiring the contrasts of the Tierra del Fuego landscape, and at night, when the lights of Ushuaia combine with the silence and mystery of the southern night.
More than just an excursion, this experience is an intimate encounter with the history and geography of the End of the World, a journey where every step invites you to contemplate the immensity and natural beauty of Tierra del Fuego.

Operating conditions: Excursions are not canceled due to bad weather, except for boat trips, which may be suspended for safety reasons in the event of strong winds. Requirements for trekking: For excursions that include trekking, it is mandatory to have high-top trekking boots, a backpack, a water bottle, and waterproof clothing.
